Over one trillion text messages sent in the US in 2009

I know can you believe it? Today the release came out about the amount of text messages that are send in the US and the number was 1 trillion. This is a crazy figure since only 363 Billion text messages were send in 2007. That means the average person text messages 14 times a day.

How can these test messaging figure be correct you say since the whole us does not have text messaging capabilities. It is easy actually because different groups send different amounts. The under 25 group sends 10 times more messages than over 35 so its really a questions of how many the are sent by age group.
